Cecile Pierron

Principal Psychologist

Hi! I'm Cecile, founder and principal psychologist at Thimble Psychology.

Creativity and curiosity are at the core of my being, and I bring both into my work. I have ADHD myself, and I deeply value authentic expression. I always meet people in their authentic presentations and work collaboratively to understand who they are, what matters to them, and what they need.

I studied in New York and come with an American accent. You have been warned.

You will always find in me accountability, acceptance of you as the primary expert in your own experience, and attunement to how that experience impacts you. My work marries a breadth of psychological training with gentle guidance, creating a space where you can energetically and interpersonally navigate relational growth, deepen self-understanding, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values.

I am warm, frequently funny, and deeply curious. I am also not afraid to lovingly clock you on your iffy behaviour, unhelpful thoughts, avoidance patterns, or the stories your mind is trying to sell you.

Who We Are

Our name was inspired by the humble sewing thimble. A thimble doesn't do the stitching for you, but it offers support, protection, and guidance as something is carefully created. We see therapy in much the same way. Our role is not to tell you who to become or how to live your life. Instead, we walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful change on your own terms.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief, relationships, identity, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, we aim to create a space where your experiences are met with curiosity rather than judgement.

At Thimble Psychology, therapy is tailored to the individual. Because no two stories are the same, no two therapy journeys should be either.
